Our Statement of Faith:
The Willow Oak Baptist Church is conservative in theology and evangelistic in practice believing in:
- The verbal inspiration of the Bible without error,
- The Holy Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three persons in one essence in the unity of the Godhead,
- The creation of man by the direct act of God and his subsequent fall as revealed in the Genesis account,
- The Virgin Birth, Deity, substitutionary death on the cross, Resurrection on the third day, ascension into heaven, the imminent rapture of the church, and the personal, visible and premillenial return of Christ in power and great glory,
- The power of Christ to save men from the penalty of sin by grace through faith in His shed blood through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit,
- The sanctification of the child of God by the Holy Spirit through the Word,
- After judgment: the eternal doom of Satan and the unsaved in the lake of fire and the eternal happiness of the saved in the presence of the Lord.
